The anti-sway bars were replaced today with a set from Suspension Techniques. Installation was tricky as there are issues with all of the links and mounts. The existing aftermarket end links (including polyurethane bushings) were retained, as were the rear frame mount brackets and rubber bushings (since no replacements are provided with the kit). The rear brackets then required bending to meet the frame member, as the larger diameter bar within the bushings naturally expanded the whole assembly. Of the new hardware, only the front frame mount bushings were used, and even these do not fit precisely, although the fact of this should not affect performance. And performance is of course the whole point. The car now corners virtually flat, apart from what can be expected from the stock strut and wheel arrangement. Tight curves can be taken at higher speed and with greater control than before. I can say that I am pleased.
